How does it mount?
It straps to the rear headrest and is angled so it reflects into your rearview mirror. That's what turns checking on your child into a half-second glance instead of a turn of the head.
Is the mirror safe if it comes loose?
It's shatterproof acrylic in an ABS frame. There's no glass in it.
How much can I actually see?
The mirror is 24.5 × 17.5 cm and convex, wide enough to show the whole rear-facing seat rather than a slice of it.
Can I adjust it while I am driving?
Line it up once while parked. It pivots on a ball joint and then stays put. If something in the back really needs dealing with, that's still a job for a parking lot.
