Will it leak on my carpet?
There is a genuine waterproof layer inside the Oxford cloth, not just a coated outer. Coffee cups and food packaging do not soak through. Tip it out and rinse the liner when it needs it.
Does the lid actually stay shut?
The flap folds over the top and holds with a tab at the front, and the rubber opening in the middle lets you push rubbish through without opening it. It is a cover, not an airtight seal — it keeps everything out of sight and stops things tipping out on a corner, but food waste on a hot day still wants emptying at the end of the trip.
Where does it go?
Wherever suits: the adjustable strap and buckle hang it from a headrest, gearstick or door handle, and it stands upright on its own in a footwell. Roughly 16.5 × 15 × 25 cm.
