Is it RGB?
No. This is a single steady ice-blue line. No colour changing, no sound sync, no app. If you want those, the RGB LED strip kit is the one.
How is it powered, and how long does it last?
12V through its driver, from the cigarette lighter socket. Rated past 12,000 hours, water-resistant and high-temperature resistant, so no dark spots after a hot summer.
Which length should I get?
1 m does one door card or a single dash run. 3 m is the usual choice for a front-cabin loop. 5 m covers all four doors plus the dash.
Can I use it outside the car?
Yes. There is nothing car-specific about it. Plenty end up behind a desk or a TV.

- A 12V socket (the cigarette-lighter socket). The plug stays in while it runs. Almost every car has one. Look in the centre console, under the armrest or in the boot.
- A seam in the dash or door trim to tuck the light line into. Slide a bank card into the seam along your dash or door. If it goes in a few millimetres, you’re set.
